Saugat Bolakhe is a freelance science journalist whose work has appeared in Scientific American, NatGeo, Nature, and other publications. He studied zoology as an undergraduate in Nepal and received a master’s degree from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at the City University of New York. He was also awarded the national science journalism award in 2024 by the Nepal Academy of Science and Technology. When not writing, he’s either running, hiking, humming songs, trying gymnastics, or geeking over another sci-fi show.
