About

From Madison, Ohio, Jack obtained a B.S. in Environmental Science with major in Wildlife Science from The Ohio State University and is a Ph.D. student in Conservation Sciences at the University of Minnesota. Currently living in Gardiner, Mont. bordering Yellowstone National Park's North Entrance, he is interested in large predator conservation and its value for preserving our natural landscapes. When Jack was an undergrad, he almost dropped out of college to go to culinary school; in following the lives of wolves, cougars, and elk in the Yellowstone backcountry, he has hiked enough miles to walk coast-to-coast across America.
