From Oklahoma City, Okla., Sheeva obtained a B.S. in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.S. in Neuroscience from Georgetown University. She is the owner of Fancy Comma, LLC. As a freelance science writer, her bylines include LifeWire, Science Talk, and The Motley Fool. An avid runner, Sheeva has run three marathons: Chicago, Philadelphia, and the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington, D.C.
